Paul Mount a renowned British sculptor and architectural designer known for his abstract and modernist works. Educated at the Royal College of Art in London, Mount’s career featured innovative use of bronze, steel, and stone, creating sculptures celebrated for their fluid lines and organic shapes.
Mount exhibited extensively in the UK and internationally, with notable public commissions such as a large-scale bronze sculpture for the Shell Centre in London. His works are held in prominent institutions and public collections, including the Tate Gallery, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Arts Council Collection & the Museum of Modern Art in New York.Besides his sculptural work, Mount was an accomplished architectural designer, integrating his artistic vision into dynamic environments. He taught at the Bath Academy of Art, inspiring new generations of artists. His legacy endures through his timeless sculptures, which continue to be celebrated for their aesthetic elegance and conceptual depth.
